Lines: Bury to Manchester Victoria prior to closure (14 photos)

Here are some shots from this fascinating line shortly before closure and conversion to Metrolink tram operaition. The Class 504 units were built in 1959 for 1200v DC operation. All were allocated to Bury Depot, coded BQ. Unit numbers ranged from 504444 to 504461.
