| On the 22nd January 2005, 40145 passed along this line on the Silver Jubilee railtour from York to Norwich via, Liverpool Street. Getting off my lazy backside for a change, I got out early to catch the train at Manea, and then spent the rest of the day photographing trains along the line.
From Peterborough to Ely there are 6 signalboxes: The first is Kings Dyke [1899] and then Whittlesea [1887], Three Horse Shoes [1901], March East Jcn [1885], March South Jcn [1927], and Manea [1883]. There is also a Portakabin at Stonea [1984] which I did not visit. All pictures were taken from public land. |
