Happily, now that Wrexham & Shropshire services are operating with loco hauled stock, the line has become much more interesting.

Furthermore, with a number of weekend closures for engineering work on the WCML, some freight is being diverted through the Chilterns. What is bad news for some, is good news for others...

So what with the bins to Calvert, and a spoil train which started in Spring 2008, the line has become an interesting one to visit.
