| On 3Dec07 I took a day trip on the Eurostar from St Pancras to Lille, travelling first class both ways no less. It was superb quite frankly, one of the first trips by rail in a long time I actually enjoyed, worth paying a few bob extra for the privelege.
Shots were taken at Lille Flandres, and Libercourt. Lille SNCF has some rateable traction, including BoBo 67xxx diesels, 16xxx electrics and I did see one 85xx wannabe Thumper. Superbe! |
