| The Class 33s were a versatile class of loco that spread their wings during the 1980s away from their home patch on the Southern, to the Western Region and the London Midland as far as Manchester. They were common around London, and you could often see them at locations including Waterloo, Kensington and Clapham.
Remarkably today, Direct Rail Service operates a small fleet in the north-west. Fragonset also operate them in a wider sphere, including their old London haunts. |
