| As at March 2004, only one first generation DMU operates on the entire Network Rail system, a class 121 DMU.
Although the 121s were a small class, they were a common sight on the Western Region and are seen at Greenford, Ealing Broadway, Reading, Oxford, and Plymouth. A couple of single-car interlopers are included: An unidentified Royal Mail liveried class 128 DPU (diesel parcels unit) and RDB975010 Test Coach Iris, in the Railway Technical Centre livery. If my memory serves me correctly Iris was converted from a class 100 DMU. |
