| The wonderful sight of GWR 'Hall' 4965 "Rood Ashton Hall" on former Great Central metals. Train details are 08.23 Birmingham Moor Street to Maryebone and 17.03 return.
For me the bonus was 50049 working the ECS as 5Z58 from Marylebone to Wembley. After running round 50049 worked 5Z59 back in to Marylebone, an incredibly rare visitor. Meanwhile "Rood Ashton Hall" worked tender first out of Marylebone light engine on a loop round North West London to back in to Maryelbone tender first to haul the express back to Birmingham. Well done Chiltern Railways for running the train and big up gen posters on Freightmaster Interactive, without their comments I would have not had a clue about the ECS. Thank you :) |
