| Whilst on a short trip to visit a friend in Gyor I took some shots at Kommarno, a small town near the border with Slovakia. Of particular interest is the carriage heating unit, a converted steam engine.
The shots were taken on a point and poke camera so aren't of the best quality, plus the weather was dull, but all in all a fascinating place to be. Hungary seemed to be full of plinthed steam engines, and I wonder just how many are left in 2007. Glorious place! Glorious country! Glorious people! |
